Day 2 and 3…Denali

Heading towards Denali, we stopped at a really cute town on the way for lunch and souvenirs. Check out the pdf to find out where!

We did two hikes in Denali also explained in more detail in the pdf. But both were fairly easy, I would say the first one was a 3 out of 10 and the second one was a 6 out of 10 in difficulty. Both had dramatically amazing views!

Amazing views in every direction!

This was the first hike which took about 1.5 hours, not too long!

The water wasn’t as chilly as you would think it would be, but I wouldn’t want to fall in!

Our second hike was a bit higher and it felt like you could see for miles and miles. They say there’s only one point to see Mount Denali and I’m still not sure if we saw it or not!

We headed to the most adorable little restaurant with views of the train rolling by outside along the mountains, all while drinking our 49th state beer:) Have to have the beer after a long day of hiking!

We then checked into our hotel not too far down the road and we’re able to sit outside with live music, it was truly magical!

You can’t beat this hotel with the restaurant outside and live music most every night! Check out the pdf to find out where to stay!!

DAY 3…

We woke up in Denali and wanted to go on one more hike before we headed out to Seward.

We picked another fairly easy hike, I would rate it a 4 on level of difficulty, not much of an elevation for this one just a perfect way to start the day!

We did yell BEAR HERE a lot through this part because you really couldn’t see in front of you at all and it was early morning so we were definitely on edge!

This truly was a perfect mother daughter trip! Get out there and do it!

We then hopped in the car and headed towards Seward with an amazing pit stop you must find out about in the pdf!! Look at these views below!

We just stopped for one quick beer!

Then we made it to Steward and stopped for dinner, we actually ate here two nights in a row it was so delicious!
